Detailed Description
Specifications
After his record setting night against the St. Louis Blues on March 11th, Oilers forward Andre Cogliano has donated his game used stick and gloves to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Cogliano became the first player in NHL history to score the game-winning goal in overtime in three consecutive games, netting the deciding goal in Edmonton’s 2-1 OT win at Columbus (Mar. 7), 6-5 OT win at Chicago (Mar. 9) and the 4-3 OT win versus St. Louis (Mar. 11).
With his three overtime goals this season, Cogliano has also tied the NHL record for most overtime goals in a season by an NHL rookie. He shares the record with a pair of Pittsburgh Penguins - Ryan Malone (2003-04) and Sidney Crosby (2005-06). Cogliano's three overtime goals has also established Oilers records for most overtime goals in a season and most overtime goals in a season by a rookie.
Included in this one of a kind package are 6 lineup cards from all three games signed by the Head Coaches (Hitchcock, Murray, MacTavish and Savard) and 6 certificates of authenticity from the NHL. Many agree that this record will never be surpassed!
